what do you suppose was the mega pixel equivalent of the camera(s) used on moon?
* Apollo 11 1969, wouldn’t they have used a quality Kodak film (that was not available to the public at the time)?
I am not dismissing the fact of man on the moon, all I am trying to find out is why the images are of such poor quality.
They were done on film with a Hasselblad. I’ve heard 35mm film is about 45megapixels. So 120 film is more.

they look about 2 by the quality of the images……….
however they used meidum film in hassies so they should have produced large scans and high quality images,
i dont think its all a big lie, however the photographs have always been a bit dodgy to me, why they are such low quality i dont know

Are you talking about the still photographs? Those are extremely detailed.
Remember that most of the images you have seen from the Apollo missions have come from video stills or press prints. Not first generation photographs.
The camera used was a 6×6cm Hasselblad. Figure that size frame will produce a scan of 30 to 40megapixels.
